F1 비자 갱신

F1 비자 갱신을 하려고 합니다.
여기서도 가능한가요? 아님 비자 갱신하러 한국까지 가야 하나요?
전에는 멕시코 등에서 할 수 있었다고 하는데, 테러 이후로 바뀌어서 유학생도 비자갱신할려면 한국 가야한다고 하는 얘기를 어디선가 들었습니다. 확실한 것은 아니구요.
정확히 아시는 분 답변 좀 부탁드립니다.

    저도 한국 가야하는걸로 알고 있습니다.. 원래.. 비자 갱신은 캐나다나 멕시코선 안되었던걸로 알고 있는데..

    I heard that, before it was possible to renew the visa in Mexico, but after 911 (maybe) the renew of visa is only permitted in the hometown contury. I heard like that. ^^;;

    If you want to renew your visa you have to go to Korea. However, if you will not leave the country you don't have to renew the visa. You can stay in US legally as long as you are a fulltime student with a valid I-20. You can check with the US embassy website, Korea.
